Pete arrived Friday night and Ed Saturday morning. Went into town and had some tacos at Overdraft with a couple of beers. Ed and I went to another bar in town while Pete went to get a hair cut and then met back up with us.
Mitchell and Emma joined us when we got to Brewdog but most other people seemed to be busy all day. Which, honestly, was fine. A smaller group is easier to manage.
We had a few beers there and played some games before heading round the corner to the Brew House.
It’s the first time I’ve been into Sara’s old bar since before xmas. I wanted to though because I still like some of the people that work there and wanted to see them. We ate while we were there too because by this point it had turned into a very indulgent day/weekend.
I know we left and walked down through town at some point because Ed split off and bought me an ice cream. I was only half joking when I said I wanted one. He’s a good egg.
A beer or two more at Dancing Man and we were all getting tired. The guys who were staying at mine and I hopped in a cab while M&Em went home.
I know Ed and I started playing a board game, but it was slow going as we were both drunk and laughing so much at Pete’s snoring on the sofa, so after a while we abandoned playing that and I went to bed.
It was a fun day!
