Back In The Saddle
I haven’t slipped out of my work out routine at all, but I definitely feel like I haven’t been pushing myself very hard these last couple of weeks. I’ve still been doing my half and hour on the bike every day and I’ve kept up doing yoga every other day, but I’ve just felt it’s been more relaxed.
I think I’m going to give it a bit more effort this week. Hit everything just a bit harder every day. I’m off next week and I know I’m more likely to be a bit more relaxed with it then so I’m going to make this week count.
The same goes with food, I’ve been more lax with my intake so I’m going to put in more effort to cook some of the nice healthier stuff I had been doing a while ago.
Overall though, I’m still feeling great both physically and mentally! You don’t have to wait until you’re feeling crappy to do some self care, if you do it while you’re already feeling good it’ll only help. There’s never a bad time to take care of yourself.
