One of the cool things about having lost a bunch of weight this year is it has inspired me to refresh my wardrobe quite a bit.
It started a little while ago when a wrestler gave me his new t-shirt.
He eyeballed my size and gave me a small. I’ve been wearing mediums for a long time but I didn’t want to be rude or ungrateful so I didn’t ask to change it. When I got home I tried the shirt on and was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did it fit comfortably but it actually looked better on me than any of the t-shirts I had been wearing recently.
Not immediately, but fairly soon after I ordered a few new shirts in a sale on the Rooster Teeth store and as I was adding them to my kart I was selecting stalls instead of mediums. It was a weird and a little unnerving feeling but when they arrived they all fit great too.
Since then I’ve bought a fair few new tops and dug out a couple of pairs of jeans that I always felt were too small for me and started wearing them more often.
I’ll still throw on a medium shirt and it doesn’t look ridiculously baggy, but I definitely can notice a difference and they will all be getting phased out.
Having a refresh like this is something I haven’t done in so long! I’ve added things and retired things as everyone does but I’ve been actively looking at new threads recently and it feels great.
...and yes I am aware that I am dressing more and more like Geoff Ramsey by the day. Fucking sue me.
