Cold As Ice

It’s been damn cold here the last couple of days, but luckily a mostly dry cold so my car hasn’t been frosty in the early morning when I finish work.

A lot of places around the country have been getting snow but where I live so close to the water any that I have seen has dissipated almost immediately.

God damn, I’m writing about weather?! Really! I don’t have a whole lot else to say today to be honest.

I’m about to start my third physical book of the year so far, I’m getting through them even quicker than when I was listening to audiobooks in the van all the time.

As much as I’ve loved the previous two, I’m happy to be checking out something non-Star Wars now.

I decided to pick up a copy of Charles Soule’s ‘Anyone’. I had read a few of his comics and really enjoyed them but Light of the Jedi was the first novel of his I had read and I was so taken by it I wanted to see if his original IP held up just as well.

The premise is cool and seems like just the right level of real world sci-fi that I enjoy. I’m sure I’ll write about it again when I’m done.

Wow, I just realised that those Star Wars books were probably the last ones I’ll write up on this site! In its current incarnation at least. April 7th is coming around quick.
